MiTAC Digital Technology Showcases Integrated Fleet, Imaging, and Smart Transportation Solutions at 2026 Automotive World

TOKYO, JAPAN (January 21, 2026)
– MiTAC Digital Technology Corp. (MDT), a global leader in automotive electronics and AIoT is proud to present its latest innovations at the 2026 Automotive World. The showcase highlights MDT's commitment to enhancing operational efficiency and safety through three core pillars: integrated fleet solutions, innovative imaging technology, and AI-powered transportation infrastructure.

Comprehensive Fleet Management Solutions

MDT continues to set the standard in the commercial sector with its robust Fleet Management solutions, integrating the connected dashcam (K Series), MioWORK™ F840 rugged tablet, and VisionMax software backend.

The MioWORK™ F840 serves as a central hub for navigation and dispatch while functioning as an integrated display that automatically toggles camera views during maneuvers like turning or reversing, significantly reducing blind spots and operational risks. This solution is complemented by the K Series dashcam, which supports up to 7-channel video integration, providing comprehensive coverage including front, rear, sides, and interior views.

By utilizing advanced Cloud AI algorithms, the system enhances the Driver Monitoring System (DMS) to detect fatigue, distraction, and policy violations such as mobile phone use or unfastened seatbelts. This cloud-based secondary analysis reduces misjudgment rates by approximately 30%, allowing fleet managers to access highly accurate behavioral data for smarter safety auditing and training. MDT’s rugged hardware, engineered to withstand extreme vibrations and temperatures, combined with the MiDM and MiBattery Pro App, ensures unmatched visibility and operational reliability for modern fleets.

Innovative Dashcam Technology

MDT presents its next-generation imaging technology with the E-mirror Type Dashcam, featuring an 11.26" IPS touch screen with 2000-nits brightness for minimized reflection. Powered by SONY STARVIS 2™ sensors, it supports synchronized 4-channel (2K+2K+2K+2K) recording. Furthermore, the flagship 4K Dashcam provides high-fidelity 4K+4K HDR recording and includes SuperMP4 technology to prevent file corruption, ensuring every detail of the journey is captured securely.

Smart Transportation Solution

Integrating AI-powered automation with self-service technologies, MDT introduces a versatile range of solutions to optimize passenger interaction and infrastructure efficiency in transit hubs. The showcase includes the Splendid kiosk platform, featuring a modular "Mix and Match" design and AI-powered intelligent monitoring. Its lightweight construction (under 20KG) and separate combination design allow for single-person on-site assembly, delivering unmatched flexibility across Intel and ARM platforms. Joining the lineup is the MioSERV™ S270, featuring a 27-inch touchscreen with dual OS support (Windows/Android), specifically engineered to streamline operations and enhance user experiences in high-traffic environments.

Complementing the hardware is MDT’s comprehensive Edge AI computing lineup, including the high-performance MA1 (up to 100 TOPS), the MP2 (Meteor Lake with NPU), the modular MX2, and the pocket-sized ME2 with Dual PoE module design technology. These systems provide the reliable connectivity and high-speed processing required for critical transit infrastructure, such as roadside units (RSU) and real-time traffic data analysis.

MDT is dedicated to bridging the gap between infrastructure and mobility by providing a seamless ecosystem of military-grade hardware and AI-integrated software. From the resilience of our fleet management platforms and the clarity of next-gen dashcams to the adaptability of our modular kiosks and Edge AI systems, MDT empowers businesses to build a safer, smarter, and more connected transportation future.
