MiTAC Digital Technology Launches MX2-10ADP: A Fanless, High-Performance Edge AI System Built for Industrial Toughness

Recognized with an Automate 2025 Award Nomination as the Only Taiwanese Entry

The MX2-10ADP is equipped with a 65W Intel® Core™ i9 processor and the MiAi-H8 AI accelerator card, delivering up to 208 TOPS of AI computing performance—all within a completely fanless design. This eliminates the challenges associated with active cooling systems, such as dust buildup, noise, and mechanical failure, making the system ideal for mission-critical applications that require silent operation and consistent uptime.

Designed with flexibility in mind, the MX2 features a modular, cable-less I/O architecture that supports a wide range of industrial interfaces, including COM, isolated DIO, CANBus, PoE, and LAN. The board-to-board connector design improves structural integrity and simplifies customization, while robust engineering enables the system to withstand 3-axis 5G vibration, 50G shock, and extreme temperature conditions ranging from -40°C to 70°C.

A key highlight of the MX2 is its LAN-to-PoE+ port conversion capability. With the addition of an optional PoE+ module, standard LAN ports can be upgraded to support up to 14 PoE+ connections, streamlining deployment of AI-enabled IP cameras and sensors without requiring external switches or rewiring.

The system includes a hot-swappable HDD tray for ease of maintenance, allowing storage devices to be replaced or upgraded without system downtime. This thoughtful, service-oriented design helps reduce maintenance costs and supports long-term scalability.
